Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Superb function, image and camera quality. Setting this security camera up with iPhone only takes no more than literally 1 minute. It will notify you when the home cam detects sound or human, you can hear what is going on, and it allows you to talk through the camera to whomever is in front of it. I am able to access and save videos for 24 hours before it is removed from the cloud, which is good enough for me. This was such a great purchase.

this is a great inexpensive security system. pairing up with my phone was a cinch. they work good in low light. I had it set to high sensitivity and high alert status and it was so sensitive it was picking up dusk floating by in low light, easily changed the setting and all is well. nice to see everything is ok while i’m away. also,,, you can get creative if you want to hide them. the camera (black round part) can pop out of the white stand. two things I don’t like is once in a while it goes down, not often though. the other thing is the privacy issue loading images to the cloud. if you use just the scan disk a thief can simply walk out the door with it. I’ve got mine set and even have ‘bait’ left out so a thief must walk by at least 3 cams to grab a broken item. highly recommend this item.

The reason we ordered this item was ease of installation. Well that was not true. I tried for almost an hour and no luck on my iPad. I finally switched to a smart phone and got it working. We were going on a short vacation so I was hoping to test it the first weekend. We really thought it was going good until the second day. The notifications started to giving false reports and the time between event and notification got longer and longer. Finally by the 3 rd day we stop getting push notifications completely. At this point I think we will send the unit back for a different system.I am updating my rating. Customer service contacted and worked to resolve some of the tech issues. We are no longer having the notifications issues. There are still small glitches but the camera is now working as expected.

I got this camera as I’ve been looking around a while for a not too expensive camera for a bit of home security. This camera fits my needs exactly! The price isn’t too expensive so I could get a few more for around the home if I need to, and I probably will!Pros:-The images / video come out nice and clear, I can view it on my cell phone and clearly see the faces of anybody who passes-The infrared camera is excellent! Even at night when all the lights are off, the images come out crisp and clear!-Motion sensor is great! Unlike some other cameras where you define a blob of the areas you need, this app gives you a 5×5 grid you can just choose to detect instead of having to fine tune the edges, so it’s quite easy to change to ignore areas you don’t need that have a higher traffic.-App is well made and easy to navigate! I had no problems setting up the camera at all through the app, the camera has a time and date stamp as well, and it’s possible to sort through the videos it took by date, and even narrow it down by type (options are Motion, Sound, and Human shape).-Lens is slightly fish-eye so it has a great coverage, more than I thought it would! Just a small camera covers my whole living room area with basically not much blind spots!Cons:-Another App! Might not be a con for you, but I have a smart home with tons of apps, so it’s a tiny hassle to have to add another app instead of using a camera that already works with one of my other apps, but for the much cheaper price of a great camera, it’s not too much of a bother in exchange. It’s also a well made app so I don’t have too much complaints about it!

If you want to use these for anything outdoor such as license plates or faces past 10 ft, try another type. These are nice and clear up to that distance, past that you can make out a vehicle make and color, but nothing past that. Would buy again though.

Pros:1. Reolink offers a free cloud service that works pretty well. This unit also allows connection to one’s own FTP site, which is also nice.2. Setup is not terrible; I struggled with scanning the QR code with my phone, but setup did not take too long. (The Ring camera setup was terrible, by comparison, and the Amazon Cloud Cam was a total breeze.)3. Picture quality is above average – better than Ring and not as good as ACC. The ability to aim the camera using the app is very nice, though difficult to fine tune.Cons:1. The “motion zones” function doesn’t work well at all; the camera records when no motion at all is happening in thearea I’m interested in. Additionally, the “draw the area you want to block out” function in the app is much too small to be accurate.2. Adjusting the motion sensitivity doesn’t appear to do anything except turn recordings completely off if you set it to “0”.3. Notifications don’t work at all, never. I have hundreds of recordings and have never received one notification, despite ensuring that these were turned on in the app on the phone.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I decided to take a chance on Reolink despite mixed reviews across their product line. I upgraded from a Foscam FI8921W v2 camera; a mere 1.3 MP camera. The E1 Zoom is a huge step up in video quality. However, I found the setup, to put it kindly, awkward. Its fairly simple, but I didn’t appreciate the loud distorted sqwaking voice that sounded like a broken NJ Transit speaker in the late evening. The provided documentation is rather sparse. The Good:The picture quality is very good as is the video. The audio leaves something to be desired but it is a feature I wouldn’t really plan on using anyway. I used Reolink’s tech support and they were very responsive and helpful, but didn’t resolve my issue that is a deficiency in their firmware and I address that below. I found the camera to work well in the dark too.The Bad:I found a lot of aspects within the firmware to be entirely mediocre. Here is a list of firmware issues I have encountered::1) I am surprised that the microSD card only purpose is to store vdeo when motion is detected. In every other brand of IP camera I have used, one can select the camera to take a picture and store it on the camera at regular intervals often between 5-65535 seconds. This is highly desirable because the camera is Wifi only. Its incredibly lazy of Reolink to do this since the base functionality is there in the firmware. You will either have to use FTP or 3rd party software; this reduces the value of the camera. A 5 min clip at full resolution of 2560 x 1920 at only 2fps the lowest you can go, it consumes about 155MB. The max capacity microSD you can use is 64GB. You’ll run out of space really fast so why the heck not store photos at 5, 10, 30, 60 intervals. The jpeg photos of same resolution are under 500kB.2) Reolink states the Wifi is stable. I adamantly disagree. My shed is approximately 200m away and it is connected via single mode fiber to between two Cisco 3560CX switches. I have a Cisco wireless environment: a WLC 5520 with older 2702i APs. I see the AP’s algorithm is to choose 5Ghz. There is no option on the client to choose a band; that would have been nice. This is annoying. Take this into account in your environment. Most prosumer/consumer dual band APs do have seperate SSIDs for 2.4Ghz & 5Ghz. Since my shed is far away its not a big deal for me to have it on 5Ghz but I wouldn’t want that running in your home environment. Why you ask? Because this is camera operates at 802.11n and it will slow down 802.11ac devices; not something desirable if you put in the expense of of having an AC router with AC clients. I typically reserve 2.4Ghz for low priority devices and that is what this device is to me. I would not entrust my security to this device for anything critical. I have experienced multiple wireless drops with a SNR of -51 dB which is excellent. I have included pictures where these drops occurred I lost connect to the camera on multiple occasions using the Reolink client and Blue Iris v5 demo.On my WLC and Spectrum analyzer I have no wireless interference whatsoever my noise floor is around -97dbm – My shed is far away from any neighbor’s home so there is no 5 Ghz interference. I noticed a significant amount of duplicate packets and data retries. This device purportedly has MIMO antennas which should cut down on multipath. It is the sole 5Ghz client on the AP therefore I conclude there is an issue with their wireless driver. I noticed several of my photos missing data. Again saving it directly to the microSD card would mitigate this issue altogether. Here is my wireless environment:(Cisco Controller) >show AP auto-RF 802.11a SHED-inNumber Of Slots……………………………. 2AP Name…………………………………… SHED-inMAC Address……………………………….. 84:b2:61:45:a4:98 Slot ID…………………………………. 1 Radio Type………………………………. But why bother sacrificing one after what I explained the issues. Its apparent Reolink put this in just so they can say they have it too. It practically serves no purpose. Oh if you do manage to overcome the issues above, there appears to be no means with which to access the files on the microSD card so that will be really fun accessing it instead of having the card easily accessible in the base.Based upon this experience I am totally reconsidering the Reolink brand. I purchased two; opening one to test. I am returning the unopened box and looking for a better value camera because this ain’t it.

  8. God first always!!

Not impressed at all. I thought this was going to be a slam dunk only because I bought 2 similar cameras from Reolink last year and those 4 work like a charm. What blows me away is that the other ones that I looked for are no longer available but if they were I would buy them. What I am referring to is the Reolink C2Pro. Those cameras are better then my Nest IQ Camera that cost approximately $325 w/tax but the imagine quality of the C2Pro was so impressive that I never thought for a minute that a company would decide to make the sound quality worse, this model is super laggy. Please let me save you some time and money. I do NOT recommend at all. Here is more reasons why. Yes I said it lags when you talk and the other people you talk to are like, “Sorry, Cant Hear You!!” And to me that’s embarrassing and frustrating. The C2Pro had 8192kbps Bitrate at 30fps Frame Rate at 2560*1920 for clear and for he fluent Resolution is 640*480, Frame Rate 15fps and at 512kbps Bitrate the difference between old and the new model is NIGHT AND DAY. Please go ahead and experience quality, video, audio rates and views go backwards which is beyond me. I usually see any company when making a new product and discontinuing an older product is because they have improved the technology as we move forward in time and as the demands for betterment get higher and higher by customers, the companies out there usually never go backwards but forward in advancements and charge accordingly. I would love to pay more money and ask Reolink to exchange this for an old C2Pro laying around and swap it out for this one PLEASE. And yes on top of it I will pay more for higher speeds and quality as speeds of the Government is not acceptable in my household.

Good quality and features however make sure to read the terms carefully as it can be evil. They like collecting and selling information via your app and filtering your router/modem so make sure to isolate the cams internet access. If you buy their subscription they can commercialize your privacy based on their EULA. I missed the 39 for 4 deal but 65 is still decent for the family pack. These look like refurbished units with new accessories compared to the standalone ones but still the value is pretty good. No Yi sticker. FPS is higher than most at this price point which outputs 15-24fps compared to cheaper chips at 8-18fps. I have 1GBps internet to measure. They have stealthy IR and performs well, TF slot {64gbmax?), Reduced 6 second preview ( other brands give me 45s}, motion detection (newer is better in proper detection), crying detection, flip 180 option, 2 way speaking (mic is better sounding in the new ones but not as loud), light blink on/off, No- custom siren or alarms, phone alerts, individual naming & notifications. Cloud subscription is locked to their servers only but optional to operate. They have a optional police service call also. However this is not a private cloud service according to their terms(2017). TF microsSD operation is not time tagged(according to a user) so if a crime is reported this key evidence is hard to gather. I have some operating close to a full year. Indoor cams are moisture sensitive but perform okay outside too(away from the rain). They do better in slightly cool climates. Overall, if you can isolate the internet from them for security, it is a good value.

Do you ever consider, “It can’t be good. It doesn’t cost anywhere near the name brands?”Yeah, I do this all the time. I’ve been using Wansview cameras for years. The original ones that I purchased all still work. And to be honest, I wish they worked with the new software because it’s just gotten better. Some considerations:These cameras can use Micro SD cards. Why is that good? You don’t have to use the cloud if you don’t want recurring costs. You can just save to the card. Buy once, and you’ve got everything you need right there. These cameras use the cloud software. Why does this matter? “Alexa, show me Side of House”. It works very well. I’m hoping I can set it up with my phones soon, though I haven’t done that with any of my cameras yet because I just go to the applicable app.I currently have 1 Ring doorbell cam, 3 Indoor Blink cameras, 3 rotating Wansview Cameras (which is GREAT, because you can look around with them), 1 fixed Wansview Camera, and now 4 outdoor fixed wansview cameras. The best value has been the wansview ones. You can’t beat the price, and they do their job well. The blinks are close in value, but they aren’t outdoor cameras.I haven’t gotten to set all of them up yet because, well, it takes a bit of thought because you want to be careful how you are mounting, but that’s a concern with any camera. If these stand up to the harsh Vermont winter, they will have been totally worth it.Each have large antennas, which make me feel comfortable about reaching my router. But they also have sheathed Ethernet, just in case they can’t. That’s ideal. The picture is great. Its not going to be 4k, but really, you’re going to reduce your internet bandwidth to nothing with 4k cameras. This is not a problem here. I still have to play with the alert settings. All in all, this was a solid purchase. For 4 cameras, @ $35 each, you’d be hard pressed to find a better deal for outdoor cameras. And if you’re going for indoor cameras, I suggest trying Wansview out as well because I’ve been using them without issue since 2017, and can watch my pups and my house from anywhere that I have internet.

I have owned three different Wansview cameras. The W3 is an earlier 720p model. The W4 is 1080p with a wider viewing angle and better mounting options. The W6 adds a couple of features to the W4–it has two-way sound, and can record to a micro SD card. The mount is also different from the W4, giving more flexibility in where you can aim the camera. The W4’s antenna is fixed at a 90° angle, but the W6 uses a flexible antenna that is slightly longer, which makes it easier to aim.The image quality of the W6 appears to be the same as the W4, with perhaps a little less fisheye distortion in the lens (it’s hard to compare distortion directly, based on where the cameras are mounted). The W6, like the W4, requires the Wansview app to set up, but after you’ve gotten your IP address and the camera login name and password, you can use third party applications like TinyCam Pro (Android) or iSpy (Windows 10) to view your cameras. If you have different brands and models of cameras, combining them all under one application is the best way to view them.A couple of minor W6 issues. First, the mount is not quite as secure–even if I tighten the wing nut on the ball and socket, the camera can still be nudged out of position with moderate effort; if mounted in a traffic area, someone bumping into the camera would throw it out of alignment. Also, the mounting base of the W6 no longer conceals the wiring, which makes it prone to tampering; the wiring for the W4 can exit out the bottom of the base and through a wall. It does, however, use the same mounting pattern, so the W4 and W6 (and even the older W3) can all mount to the same spot.I also noticed the night vision on the W6 is now blurry; however, it is positioned under an awning and it appears to be focusing on part of the awning hanging down, rather than the porch it is pointed at. I may have to drop the mount a little lower to correct this.I also had a minor setup issue. With the W4, I was able to connect and configure the cameras via their Ethernet ports to join the wireless network–it was quick and easy. With the W4, neither of the WiFi methods would work reliably. On the W6, trying with two different cameras, the Ethernet ports would not allow me to configure the cameras for WiFi. (Yet, the MAC address showed up in my router, so I know the cameras could connect via Ethernet to the network.) This might require a firmware update to correct.Overall, the image quality is the equal of the W4 and adds two-way sound and micro SD card recording capabilities. If you need these features, the W6 is the model you want. If not, the more sturdy mounting of the W4 might be more suitable for your outdoor usage.

I got this system for several reasons. First, it is a wireless connected camera system back to the base. Second, the cameras pan 180 degrees (actually a little more than 180). Third, it stores the recordings locally on a hard drive, not SD cards. And fourth, the cameras are not battery powered. That was my criteria for getting a security camera system and this Hiseeu system does all of that and more. The set up is EASY and I had my first camera operational the first day. Honestly, the hardest part is deciding where you want to mount the cameras. All they need is power and they are preconfigured to operate with the base unit and ready to go out of the box. I considered a lot of systems, both wired and wireless, and I am so glad I got this one. Range on the wireless is excellent even through the walls from the base to the cameras. Picture clarity is outstanding, even with the night vision LEDs. Being able to pan the cameras just extends the use of this system to cover more area. The system supports 8 cameras, so I can add other cameras if I want them later. The base unit has a very small footprint and it will connect to any PC monitor or television capable of supporting 1280×1024 resolution either with a VGA cable or an HDMI cable. I am very pleased with this system and the fact that you can access your camera system anywhere over the Internet is a real plus. You can even access playback of any event on your smart phone. Really nice system

I purchased this solely based on the reviews which seems to have been a mistake. after installation, cameras worked ok but about a week into it 2 -3 cameras were not sending a notification when there was a motion. I reset everything including the router. Still had the same issue but sporadically between all 4 cameras. Mind you there’s nothing wrong with the router or the WIFI. so I reached out to seller and described the problem. They suggested that I move two cameras that were farthest from the router closer but this was not possible without losing the coverage I needed for all around the property! Isn’t that the entire idea of having 4 or more cameras? so, after nearly a month of installation and having this problem I get another email offering me $15 credit towards my purchase. this was the most ridiculous resolution. Lesson learned, don’t rely on reviews since there’s no proof all of them were real purchases. very disappointed with the seller and the product.Update after this review, Seller simply does not know how to resolve problems since I replied to their email again stating two cameras are not working properly and do not send notifications they again offered a FREE tiny indoor camera! really?! how is that supposed to remedy the defective cameras???? there are many other cameras and sellers to buy from and perhaps with much better customer service to actually help the problem not just offering a free item!

I read a lot of reviews for security cameras and they were all mainly 5 stars so I tend to read the 1 & 2 star reviews to really get a feel for the product. After reading so many I found often buyers were rewarded for their postitive reviews and I want to assure you when giving a review it is my true experience even if there is an incentive. My husband gets annoyed when I tell people how I really feel or think when asked but I figure if you ask I will tell the truth even if its not what they want to hear.I had a previous camera system by Zimtag that I spent a lot of money on to have a dedicated server but the cameras were problematic and constantly needed a power cord and an ethernet cable to restablish internet connections which was extermely inconvienent and eventually the cameras and app stopped working as well and I gave up trying to fix them and got some Ring cameras and a ring doorbell. Ring was great until they started charging $120 a year to save videos on the cameras so I only pay for the Ring doorbell and don’t want to be tied into a yearly subscription forever. I am going on year 2 of Ring at $30 per year and most of the notifications are cars driving by even though I updated the settings many times. I have never been able to see someone at my door live because it takes to long to open the app.I currently have 3 Hiseeu cameras installed and will get a repeater and longer cable for the 4th camera and I am already contemplating where to put the other 4!! I really like being able to pan the camera to see a wider view and the set up was simple and it surprisingly worked right out of the box without much effort. It took me longer to run my extension cord and set up a multi outlet surge protector than to install the cameras themselves. I love I can view it on my big screen TV or my phone when I am out and it will give me peace of mind to watch for vistors and package thieves when we’re not at home. I need to read the manual more carefully and work on customizing the settings and learning more about the features.Since you asked, 🙂 my biggest concern is the app and the fact it is made in china and the voice instructions are in stilted english and there is chinese language when I open it, which I can’t read. I can only assume it is loading some sort of ad since it counts down 5 seconds and the app opens. I am also a little worried about keeping my information secure but there isn’t a lot we can do if we want to have all these great features we’ve come to expect.I do wish the night vision was in color but I knew that was not a feature and preferred to have the cameras pan.

The camera that was in the box was not what was pictured. What I received had a cable permanently attached which split into 3. I was not happy with it so I sent it back. I don’t even know about it’s functionality since I couldn’t get it to work

The technology is great and it was easy to set up. However, there is no battery compartment, it comes with an adapter to plug into an outlet–which someone could easily unplug, which then defeats the purpose of an outdoor security camera!

I highly recommend that the video player is great in all aspects. Its picture is clear and sharp, without blur or graininess. Night vision is too great, I set mine as the picture. Bright, this is a clean feature that can be turned on or off. All the sky can be night, and the distance is impressive for me. Those who see me, and even the distant movement, are more than that. I’m still learning the alarm is another important benefit of voice communication. Each one can be turned on or off. Time to add photos and videos.
