Got this for my friend who does not have a nice jacket so this looked nice with different details like zippers and buttons it looked funky and hip. There are different colors will get the khaki colored as well. The material is thick so it could keep you warm but it is a lightweight jacket not for very coldweather. It looks good and very flattering with just the right length.

The jacket seems quality made and looks very nice in person, despite having a step too many shiny decorative zippers/buttons for my liking. The outer material is denim-like cotton. On to the sizing:I’m 5’10” 170lbs, slim-ish build, normally wear size US size “M” and like a relatively snug fit. Consequently, I first ordered a US M – and its shoulders/sleeves were perfect, but the waistline was a little too tight. Ordered an L to see what the difference might be, and the sleeves were too long and the jacket was too baggy. I’m keeping the “M” size because I will be wearing it unzipped or half zipped with only a t-shirt underneath most of the time.In conclusion, this might not be for the American waistlines. But, on the plus side, the tight fit might keep reminding me to not go overboard on the snacks. 😉

I wanted to write this review to clear up quite a few confusion you see around feedback from other reviews, as well as the lack of good description of this item from the seller/manufacturer:1. This is not stated clearly enough by the seller, so I will clarify: the size you select on Amazon is already adjusted for the smaller sizing from the manufacturing country of origin. What this means is that if you select a size L on Amazon, expect to get a jacket labeled XL. With that said, the size I selected on Amazon (M) fitted me perfectly. I regretted getting “one size larger” as other reviews suggested – I had to return the jacket as it was too large for me.2. I would consider this a medium-heavy weight soft shell jacket. It is very warm (as far as soft shells go), and not a light weight soft shell intended for more athletic activities. Do not consider this a clothing item which can be compacted down, which is sometimes a consideration for outdoor people (e.g. backpackers).3. This jacket has a ton of features not really described on Amazon. 4 of the pockets (two upper arm and two torso) each have their own interior cord openings which allow people to thread headphones through to their respect music players. The two torso pockets each also have their own interior pen pocket/slot. If you were to order size L (and larger?), the two torso pockets also each have their own interior plastic D-ring tabs, allowing you to clip keys or other items to it. However, this D-ring is missing in my size M (and smaller?) jacket. The shell of the jacket is water repellent (at least right now when new). The elastic drawstring for the hood is threaded to the top/interior of the torso pockets so they are not swinging around. As other reviews have alluded to, there is a back lumbar pocket with zippers on left and right. Lastly, the hood can be rolled up and held in place by a big velcro flap on the inside of the collar (visible in the picture).4. The quality/features of the jacket from the seller is wildly inconsistent. Of the two jackets which I ordered (one kept, one returned), one came with features (the D-ring in torso pocket, mentioned above) which the other one doesn’t have. One also came with a 1″ x 1″ Velcro patch (unlike the one visible in the picture) on the jacket, while the other one just has a bare Velcro patch base. One was shipped to me in a giant plastic envelope with ripped interior bag, while the other one came in an Amazon box, perfectly packaged. Since many of the features aren’t described in detail, I don’t mind that it’s missing some things/features, but can’t you – as a seller – keep these things consistent so people know what to expect? In the end, I really struggle to give the jacket 4 stars for my review. The inconsistencies in features, shipping, sizing label, and poor product description really put me off and irritate me. On the other hand, this jacket packs a lot of feature for a very cheap price (as far as soft shells go, which are typically pricey). I am opting for 4 stars (opposed to 3), because I believe I will get my value out of this product. But truth is, if I can give it 3.5 stars, I would.

Good jacket. Pretty warm, you will need to layer if you’re getting into temperatures under literal freezing. That’s 0°C/32°F, for those who dropped out of junior high. It definitely retains heat when zipped up. I wouldn’t wear this if it’s 70+. You’ll get sweaty quick. Lots of pockets. Fits well, the black will show dirt pretty quick. I really liked this thing. It is made in China, for those whom it may concern. This jacket is so good, in fact, that some copulator of maternal figures had to go and swipe it while I had it in the break room at work. I bet it was the same guy that stole my pizza out of the fridge, and just left the crust in the box as if I wouldn’t notice.

I would like company to contact me about my order. I have worn many brands of tactical soft shells for work and I am so disappointed on every level. Item is not as pictured, quality and pockets are terrible. The only pocket tactically useful is the forearm pocket and that’s only on 1 arm. Please contact me before I return and write a more honest review about how disappointed I am as an LEO expecting “tactical” to mean it is a capable and efficient quality jacket which this is not.

I purchased this jacket in January. After wearing it a few times I went to adjust the waistband. When pulling on the snap, it broke in two pieces. This is obviously a product defect. As it was past the 30 day period for Amazon, I contacted the manufacturer, Wantdo, about a replacement or refund. this was there response:Dear customer,We’ve contact Amazon seller support, because your order was fulfilled by amazon, sorry that we can’t help you directly, you can contact amazon about your request. Here is the way to contact Amazon:(1). Use your Amazon account to log into http://www.amazon.com(2). Pull down to the bottom of this page and find “Help” button , and click on it to get into a new page(3). Find “Need more help ” in the middle of this page and move it to this button and you will see “Contact Us ” and click on it .Then you will get in touch with Amazon Customer Service Associate. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.Sincerely sorry about the inconvenience that bring to you.Hopes this helps.Best regards,WantdoThey clearly do not stand behind their product so don’t count on any customer service. When I contacted Amazon, they were generous enough to provide a refund after hearing that the seller/manufacturer was not cooperative. Thanks Amazon.

I was quite cautious about my expectations for this purchase. Typically, I have found that styles such as these are imitations made from different material and in a slightly different cut than shown. I was all the more concerned due to the blocking of the brand label on the inside of the jacket as pictured in the listing.I have Amazon Prime and the listing showed free returns, so I figured if there was anything squirrely I could just send it back and get a refund. I went ahead with the purchase and I am currently very glad I did, though I do have some notes. There’s a very obvious geometric yet sporadic pattern in the listing pictures. I did not expect this coat to be completely accurate as depicted, but it was. All the zippers, all the stitching, the patterns, everything is as shown. I love it when I get what I see. There’s even a nice bit of color on the inside where a progressive rainbow pattern thread is used to stitch the waist tension line into place. Hard to see this in the pictures. I liked it, some might not. Photo included. The fit is decent too. I am somewhat between a medium and a large at 5 ft 8 + 180 lb, so I decided to go with the large since a lot of these tend to be a bit small and I was right. The sleeve length just fits and I doubt that would have been the case had I bought a medium. With the cinch waist, it fits around the middle nicely.Like I wrote previously, my primary point of concern is the blocked out tag as shown in the Amazon listing. On the jacket I received, the manufacturing label has quite clearly been removed. Before I thought this product, I had considered that it might be a replica so I tried to find an original design and came up with nothing. It seems as if this product may be re-purposed from a different brand or a different line. My biggest fear is that this product is somehow defective under its actual brand, but that’s not a very likely case. The more likely scenario is that this is another brand that someone else bought, remove the tags from, and attached their own tags in order to sell on Amazon. Since I was unable to find original material online, I have no evidence to support the latter theory. So, I am cautiously optimistic. I received what I saw in the listing, the fit is a little small but I went big and was rewarded for my forethought. I have attached a few images, I may or may not continue to find out why the tag was removed.I also have no faith that this would hold up in a downpour like most parka-style jackets and coats. Makes a nice fall jacket or outer layer for winter wear. Fabric does not seem at all water proof or even resistant. Bad for health, good for fashion.Update: Noticed the leather pull tab for the zipper on the left arm says “Fashion Original Brand.” Still having difficulty coming up with original design information.

What a disappointment. I normally wear an XL, I ordered a 2XL. It is still too tight. The zipper is a piece of junk, and the material is cheap nylon that is noisy. Returning it immediately.

For the money, it’s a decent softshell. But it’s purpose built, not for general use. And not for everyone.Pros:1- Keeps out wind and light to moderate rain for short periods of time and ries quickly.2- Pit zips help ventilate.3- Adjustable hood cinches tight. 4- Nice cuff closures.5- High set pockets for access while wearing a harness, rig or pack with a wide hip belt. Very affordable. (This is also a con)6- There are tons of companies out there selling essentially this same jacket. (It’s based on a surplus military jacket design.) This is one of the higher quality versions out there.Cons:1- Main zip shuttle is on the left (not made for American market).2- No waterproof zips. (Can’t criticize it too much at this price point)3- No hand warmer pockets located where you are probably used to having them. You’ll find yourself wanting to leave the long pocket zips all the way down so you can access them easily, down low where you’re used to finding pocket openings. If you leave them open, everything falls out. There is no pocket “well” as the zipper goes all the way to the bottom of the pocket. You’ll drop your keys/phone.6-The arms are way too long, so they bunch up above the (well made) velcro wrist tabs.7- It’s a “slim/athletic” fit. Big at the shoulders, narrow at the hips. Perfect if you’re He-man. But again, not for most of us. If you have any extra belly, you’ll have to size up and deal with the extra space around the chest and shoulders.8- The jacket material is heavy enough that the extra material in the shoulders and sleeves adds unnecessary bulk, epecially with the additional pockets and zips. Not a good jacket to keep in your pack.9- Lastly, it’s a “tactical” jacket which may be a plus if that’s what you want. All the velcro patch fields and extra zippers and pockets are not so good for every day wear or for people who don’t want to stick out. They add weight, and limit the uses for the jacket.Overall, this jacket is good for the shooting range or the trail when you know the weather will be chilly/wet. If you don’t need the patches and weird extra pockets, you may be better off looking for another budget hooded softshell like the ones from Amazon sellers like Outdoor Ventures or Little Donkey Andy.

looking for a jacket that I can wear for work. This perfectly made spring weather jacket is so soft and comfortable, it’s the perfect style I was looking for. I’m 5’ 7” & 180lbs and got a large

Coat was $45 because it was a return “like new”. I always buy things when that are on wish list when Amazon lowers the moolah after someone returns the item without proper packaging, labels or something that really doesn’t have anything to do with item. I’ve found that the % Amazon lowers is all over the place on different items, some high, some low. On this coat the regular price was $68 bucks and I got it for $44 so I saves me some good samoleons. Ok ok why am I wasting your time telling you how I save $$$$$ on this coat? If something you want has “almost new” buy it if it’s a great savings because I’ve done this a lot and never found the item has anything wrong. another example a pair of work boots that I saved 45%.

Large….I’m 6’2 / 215…..other than the sleeves being a tad to short…it fits ok…I just roll the sleeves up…and I’m just as good as anybody else…I will definitely order another color….

I do not think whoever uses the term “True Fit” understands how to “fit”. I ordered a Large and have been a medium since I retired from USAF and stand 5’7” at 185lbs and the large is snug in chest and waist (my waist is a 34inch) without using the drawstring. The arms length is good for a large but it really is only a medium in USA fitting. The other defects were that the patch on the chest is stitched crookedly and the top portion the stitching completely missing the patch so the patch needs to be restitched but will have dry cleaner do it rather then try to exchange and the snap buttons do not stay snapped but will open upon the slightest movement but if you are an actual Large in sizing in USA then they need an Extra Large size otherwise you will have one tight fit not meant for layering

The media could not be loaded. I tried this jacket on a year or more ago via the Wardrobe method and really liked it, but couldn’t justify the purchase. Now, I can, so I looked it up an re-ordered and will keep. My workroom temperature often dips into the low 60s Fahrenheit, even when it’s 70 outside, so I like to leave the house in a t-shirt, but the chilly office calls for a jacket that can keep me warm enough to be comfortable, so that’s where this jacket comes in. There’s just one inside pocket. I wish there were two, but that’s the only shortcoming I will bring up. It’s just a little snug in the shoulders, but I don’t do a lot of flexing with it fully zipped and snapped closed, and maybe it’ll give a bit with wear.
